New storyteller

Ok, lets get down to business. I'm going to be running the rp threads now with a rules system, stats, and the potential to change the face of TAL by affecting the world. First, I'd like to take stock of how many people are actually interested. If you want to be part of the new rp please give me a post telling me a little about yourself and the kind of character you would like to play. We don't have the rules for stats yet, so it will just be a conceptual character creation. If you want to use a pre-existing character from the previous sessions with Garuda, that's fine as long as they fit into the TAL setting.

Anyway, please give me your feedback.

Well, I'm Star. I'm a senior in a highschool somewhere in the Eastern Time Zone. I'd roleplay with my character Natalia Kyabri, who is sitting there in the yet-to-be approved characters topic because I still wish to touch up somethings...

Okay I found your character. Looks great so far. I felt that Garuda's point about the social ramifications of your opinions was a good one. I'm fine with you keeping things the way they are, just don't be shocked when if people give you a hard time.

The wind sculpting idea was very nice. Good creativity.

I'm interested, I've been eying up the roleplay forum since I joined.

I like to roleplay, I particularly enjoy roleplays with stats (provided they don't get TOO complicated) because it gives me something to work towards.

I'm still new, I haven't gotten a character written up yet, but I've got an idea for one; an extremely short mage with a giraffe as a familiar. But I don't know if this is possible.... considering that I don't know whether Solum has any areas where giraffes could live.

If it is possible then she'd likely be either a water or earth mage, I'm somewhat leaning towards water at this point.

If it's not possible, I'll think up another character.

Okay, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Been quiet for a while, but haven't forgotten you guys. Things have been busy lately. Still don't have a system that we can agree on. will keep you updated.

@ Silvertip: Are you sure the name thing isn't the other way around? ;p It's okay, though, if that's your real one, lucky you. If not, I can't say much, I go by Gwydion generally, as I hate my legal.

That said, on to the actual topic. I lurk a little, would like to play, but time is an issue, and RL gets in the way rather more often than I'd like. I have not one, but TWO characters that have not been approved....yes, I know you can only have one actual char, but I got impatient, and when there's inspiration, I create. I'm fine with getting them both to the point of approval, which would necessitate some work still, and then just play one and have the other either NPCed or given to someone who liked the concept and was willing to play them with personality at least mostly as written.

Said two characters are Malach Seraphinus and Mael Azareel.

Nope, my real name's Meeghan. I'd just prefer to be known as Star online because then I don't have to imagine people thinking 'Meghan' or 'Meagan' or any variation thereof to themselves. I like my name, but strongly dislike the name Megan. MEEghan is something completely different. Oh, and I'm glad you like the wind sculptures, Morgod. I happen to like them too ^_^
