At my school, somebody was able to get a hacked vrsion of GTA 3 onto the school computers. Sadly the story cut out before te bridge from the first island was fixed so you couldn't finish it. The most fun anybody had however, was a combination of cheats that allowed you to turn a tank into a recoil propelled flying machine that could reach all three islands. We discovered that many of the roofs do not exist and can be fallen through traping you inside a building. The map also had no bounderies, so if you went far enough, you came back to where you started.

ya the flying tank was no fun. hacks were just bleh. ther bigest hack i ever used was the tank bug where if you rammed a tank and shot it it blew up for when tthe military got me stuck in a corner. and diablo 2: guided arrow+ newbie= hours of fun watching then try to run away from it and make it back to town before it killed them. and tthen of course finding out how many times they would try to get their body before they gave up and left. on a semi related note: fable two is gonna KICK ASS since you can have kids and is hyper realistic (not sure what to think about the gun though). But the first was an unfinished product that was one of the funnest combat systems for mindless slaughter to date.

Fable 1 was like a horrible freeway head-on collision involving two semi-trucks packed with Wizards of the Coast RPG engineers and Disney Inc. scriptwriters. Surprisingly, it was a really good game, and I wish there had been more to it. I'll be looking forward to the sequel.

Nicholas fox- 06-25-2007

they released it about a year too early- they later released "the lost chapers (aka what the game was kinda sup

Garuda- 06-25-2007

wait, spore was cancelled? Where was I when this happened? Oh. at work. of course. Still looking forward to Bioshock.

Nicholas fox- 06-26-2007

not canceled per-say, but prosponed for 1-2 years/indeffienatly currently i's being quoted or the 2009 fiscal year.

Garuda- 06-26-2007

so, canceled.

Darmicon- 06-27-2007

Well, did you hear about fable: the lost years? It basically was a version of Fable that extended gameplay and gave you new toys to mess with.

Nicholas fox- 06-27-2007

It was what Fable was INTENDED to be at release date, they just released it as a new game, instead of admiting that Fable was released about a year too early.

Has anyone else heard anything about Tabula Rasa? I'm really looking forward to it. Not only does it look awesome, but it'll let me show off my new $2,500 system. *pets system* Dual displays rock. 42" of LCD goodness.

So, what's everyone been playing? My list of current games includes: Bioshock Half Life (2, ep 1, ep 2) Mass Effect Okami God of War 2 Persona 3 FES SMT Nocturne Odin Sphere Trying to get back into Bioshock (Trying to beat it on EXTREEM HARD MODE W. no regen tanks) Oblivion/Shivering isles (Got bored for a while) Dead rising (Got stuck at the motherfucker with the sniper rifle and 100% aim) Ninja gaiden (If I could find a copy for fucking fucks sake) Xenosaga (Goddamn, I want to pull through, but it can't keep my interest for long) Oh, I suppose I should say that I got a 360 elite. Me, the arch typical poor kid, buying one of the priciest kits on the market, save for 599 US DOLLAHS, seems to swim against the tide of logic, but, eh, let's run with it.

When I was in the gamer household, I played virtually all of those minus the final three on your list, and enjoyed them....finished none of them, however. You should check out Lost Odyssey it's a really awesome, in-depth, emotionally powerful roleplaying game. atm, however, I must settle merely for Hellgate: London on my wife's laptop, and occasionally Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria on my clunky PS2.

Darmicon- 09-01-2008

Update: Beat HL 2 ep 2, Okami, God of war 2, and Mass effect. Found a copy of ninja gaiden black, so I'm focusing on that, for now at least.
