Yes. ...just yes.

Zigren- 02-20-2007

o(><)o Now I feel all knowledge-y and stuff!

Irerising- 02-20-2007

Praise Gnosis! *all hail*

Zigren- 02-20-2007

._. Oh, yes! *hails* And since it is late and I should be in bed two hours ago, toodles 'till tomorrow~

Zigren- 02-20-2007

Oh, I have another question, about familiar diet. When a familiar is bonded does its taste in food change at all, or even it's ability to digest other things? If so, would these changes be influenced by the mage or just however the familiar likes the taste of best, with its expanded pallet and all? Edit: More somethings I began to wonder about, how does the whole 'Journeyman's Assignment' go? Is there any specific things that happen when this task is assigned? And when a Familiar is bonded, would the human gain anything from the bond? Like if some random Mage bonded with a house cat, would the Mage find themselves a bit more limber and a higher jumper? Double Edit: @@; I need to think of these questions all at once rather than two seconds after I hit the 'Submit' button. For the other schools, (Other than Oron) what do those uniforms look like? A small description or a doodle would be very muchly appreciated.

AuroraDragonKaya- 02-20-2007

Usually I like discussing the answers with Lara first, to be sure we're in agreement, but alas, she is at work, so I think I'll wait to answer this, if you don't mind. ;3 As far as the uniforms go, I'll gets some sketches done asap. Any in particular you want to know about?

Zigren- 02-20-2007

Makes sense, and I have no qualms to waiting. ... Wow, you can so totally tell I was just roleplaying, huh? Well, the one that interests me the most is Dimicatio, not only because I wish for my Mage to be from there, but also because they're military, I just thought they might look interesting compared the most-likely more flashy schools with nobles in their ranks.

Zigren- 02-20-2007

-_-; Another bothersome question. How is it one tells what magical affinity a mage has when they are still a child? Or can such even be done?

AuroraDragonKaya- 02-22-2007

Ok, sorry it took so long to reply. Between school and the update, its been busy. ^.^; As far as your questions.... A familiar's diet usually does not change drastically. For example, Cervus would not eat meat, (though he'd be far less likely to get sick from things like sugar and processed sugar.) The mage may also have some changes to his/her diet. In this case, Mattiew is far more likely to be drawn to/eat veggies. :3 The journeyman's assignment tends to change from academy to academy. Usually its a time for the mage to actively work and use their powers in the field (literally or figuratively) and study in their free time.... is their any particular academy you'd like to know about? As far as the humans gaining things.... a mage who bonded a cat might have better balance, but there's usually no huge change, and a lot of what DOES change is psychological. (Still working on the concept sketches for the uniforms. ^.^;; I'll probably use them as vote incentives... >:3) Hopefully, the fact its not done yet wont stop you from using your character. ^.^; For the last question.... The mark is the first clue as to what a child's elemental affiliation it is. Anyone who knows the magical "language" (seen as various symbols, etc) will likely be able to surmise very quickly what a mage's affiliation is. That aside, there's also magical -*test*-('")s (though they're almost never needed) that can be used if the mark is for some reason unidentifiable. Hope that helps! ^w^ KEep asking as you need to.

Zigren- 02-22-2007

Oh, don't worry about that keeping me away from using my character, I'll probably do that myself @_@ I started a character, finished the bio, scrapped everything but her familiar and element. Then, last night, I did the same thing ._. although I blame the noodle-arm chibi's. They've been distracting me. About the academy's Journeymen assignments; nothing in particular, but is the mage just given a piece of paper telling them what to do, or is there some ceremony? How do they receive their tasks? Oh, I'm thinking about buying myself a tablet, do you have any recommendations?

AuroraDragonKaya- 02-22-2007

Wacom brand tablet, first thing. They're expensive, be warned, but wacom pretty much is the best. (They have a -*test*-('") on their site, acutally, to help decide what type of tablet might suit you. Or you can just read about all of them and pick which sounds best or is cheapest, or both, heh) On the Journeyman's assignments, there's a small ceremony, and you're given your sash, which is a sign of your journeymanship. (In Oron's system, Novice's have one belt, Apprentices two, Journeyman a sash... etc. I'm pretty sure that's universal, at least for Solum, but I'd need to check with Lara and stuff. to be sure.) Chibis can be evil critters, can't they? :P

Zigren- 02-22-2007

I'm willing to pay, as it isn't my money. >_> I got a present rain check from my parents last Christmas and my birthday's coming up soon, too. Ah, well, that's neat, AND the reason I have to keep on forgetting then adding those pesky Apprentice belts. Chibis... ._. Especially when you can't stop drawing them. ... Although I guess doing this to your -*test*-('") isn't any better... >< And I still got a 110%! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v93/DragonBlade201/MarriTestBadJamie.jpg (And yes, I know it looks funny, the eyes were drawn weird and made the face all long.)

Silvertip- 02-23-2007

Ohh...Shiny...^_^ I once did a (almost) careful study: As long as your doodles look good, you are likely to get higher grades on -*test*-('")s which have been drawn on! Caution: This does not garantee good/perfect -*test*-('") results on anything in any subject. Use these "findings" at your own risk

Zigren- 02-23-2007

._. It doesn't work as well with 'fill-in-the-bubble' -*test*-('")s as the machine would probably explode trying to grade that o_o;
