Everyone just missed the hint. ;P
I was really worried too, because that was before we had the Sei font finished. For this reason, we lagged adding the translation of her name, until a fan pointed it out. XD Even then, I had to write it by hand and we didn't have "adept."
Similarly, if you look carefully, whenever she says a name, its in Sei, not Solumian. The first few times of that were also written by hand. @__@;;
Hope we don't have to go through that with the other languages. XP
(And yes, Barak and Raamah both get 'special' names, stylized in what we hope to be close to how they'd actually write it.)
Eventually, we'll hopefully have custom fonts for EVERYTHING. (Including special fonts for the main characters.) However, that'll probably take a while. ^^;;

I have a question:
How would the gift of magic affect twins? Would one be able to share his energy with the other even if said twin wasn't magically inclined?
(I'm asking because I'm trying to do my past for my RP character)
Edit: (I'd thought I should let you know...that no...the character I'm trying to submit isn't one of the twins...) -_-;

I have a question.
The information on the site mentions that a familiar will gain the greater lifespan of the mage, what will happen to the lifespan of Barak/Raamah?
Tomas.

Firstly, sorry for taking so long to reply!
That being said.....
If twins can share energy like that, then they probably ARE both magically inclined. (Also, if there are twins, its extremely rare for one to be magical, and the other not. It's either one or the other.)
If one was a spirit mage, it COULD give the other a boost, however, that'd have nothing to do with them being twins, only the spirit mage.
As far as the lifespan question goes... usually, it tends to be the one with the longest lifespan seems to carry over. (For example, people who bond sea turtles live longer.)
Of course, a human bonding a werewolf has never happened before, as sentient familiars aren't supposed to be possible.... so no one knows what the effects really are. :3
Shard- 07-13-2007
perhaps they feed off each other and both lifespans double? :P
edit: or, even crazier, as my twisted little mind does it's foul work, the fact they both have souls, and are bonded in such a way, it creates a kind of mobius strip of life flowing between them, and they simply stop aging altogether.....frightening thought. Probably not the case. :wink:
AuroraDragonKaya- 07-13-2007
XD Well I feel safe to say without worry that no, neither are immortal. :P
Edit- also, animals in general are considered to have souls... just not sentience ;3

Tch. Heathen devil pagan. :evil:

Random question, as I just noticed this, and it's, well, mildly pertinent I suppose. Though I don't expect anything higher myself, I did notice a distinct lack of higher-up types of Fire mage....even the Spirit Mages get "upgrade" versions....and all the other elements have at least two more steps up above your basic (element) mage. Just wondering.
Spiritwolf- 07-14-2007
It's because fire is fire. Nothing to change.
Garuda- 07-14-2007
I'm gonna have to call bullshit on that. There's as much potential for subcategorization with fire as there is for anything else.
Not to suggest that I have any answers. I didn't write the rules.
AuroraDragonKaya- 07-14-2007
Well, that pretty much WAS why there was no subcategories, Garuda. :P
Fire is fire. It burns stuff, and if it can't be burnt, it melts stuff.... though I suppose it could potentially be broken up.
How would you break it up?
Shard- 07-14-2007
Yeah. For example, and these are just my own extrapolations, have to wait for Cassie or Lara to give their thoughts for anything concrete.
Sear Mage
Blaze Mage
Firestorm Mage
Flashfire Mage
Inferno Mage
Magma Mage
Coldfire Mage
Ghostfire Mage
And that's just what came off the TOP of MY head....no tellin' what THEY might come up with. Anyway....I was asking them in the first place.

Don't think I won't call bullshit on you too :P
I'm not ready to accept that there's any better reason for subcategorizing any other element, but not fire too. I wasn't gonna say anything because it's not really my job, but that's never made any sense to me.
AuroraDragonKaya- 07-14-2007
Haha, call it away. ;3 Honestly, I don't mind critique. xD (Artists at do tend to improve much slower. ;P)
But the thing is, Shard, what's the difference between each of those you listed?
What would each subcategory's ability be?
Shard- 07-14-2007
Hmmm....are you genuinely curious for ideas, just want to see what I come up with, or really don't believe they'd be all that different from one another? I'd have to know that before committing to working out differences and powers and such, considering how many there are. But I could do it. Fyi....while pertinent, no, I don't intend to have Malach be anything other than straight fire...so I'm not lobbying for an upgrade, it's already chancy enough that I'll be able to play him as is without bumping his powerlevel.
