Why the HELL were you trying to give a cat a bath!? O.o;;
Because, they, like dogs, need it, especially to help get rid of his winter coat. xD He sat in front of the fireplace licking himself dry for an hour and a half.

wow, that is the strangest thing i've ever heard, someone giving a cat a bath 8O
Zigren- 03-03-2007
x_x They sell CAT shampoo, it's not that strange. But it does convince you that the cat would rather run into a fire than into a water-filled sink.
Spiritwolf- 03-03-2007
not my last cat, he would just drop down and sleep.
Zigren- 03-03-2007
xD Poor cat, how boring.
o_o Something I would like to recommend to everybody here. NEVER convince yourself into creating a character with nine tails. It's not worth it.
AuroraDragonKaya- 03-03-2007
My dog hated baths too. It was a battle to give him one. @.@;;
And cats are better off being groomed by one of those glove thingies. Poor poor cats.
Hahaha, a kitsune?
Zigren- 03-03-2007
Actually a cross between a phoenix and a kitsune, but it still sucks to draw x_x The glove thingies don't actually work, although considering I couldn't get into his undercoat with the water until after I used the soap, that might be why xD
AuroraDragonKaya- 03-03-2007
Wow. o.o He must have thick fur, heh
Zigren- 03-03-2007
Yeah, but it's all silky and soft now, so whenever I see him I scoop him up off of the floor and huggle him until he escapes.
AuroraDragonKaya- 03-03-2007
XD Poor thing. I love cats. x3
My own I've had since childhood. She's a brat, but really unusually obedient for a cat. She comes when I call, does tricks for treat, and prefers my company to being alone, heh.
Zigren- 03-03-2007
My cat is a strange one. Sometimes we'll run around the house (I chase him, then he'll turn around and chase me. o_o I run for my life) and other time's he'll attack me just because I'm in the same room, and other other times he'll come and lay on me and take a nap. oO Usually he sits outside my computer room door, just laying there.

Aw, you guys all have cute cats... I have physcho ones. That pee in the house. Or drool on me. Or are so frickin' needing and annoying that I can't stand them for more than an hour. Which is sad, really. I know. But so it is...
As for my dogs... they're fantastic. Boxers both, and just as bizarre as the rest of my family. The female, Rosie, I swear is more like a cat in her attitude than a dog (though she does enjoy wallowing in mud and other disgusting thigns, just to tick us off), and Zim, the male, I am conviced was a race-horse in a past life... With a little cat thrown in. He doesn't like to get dirty. Or to get his feet wet. We call him "Prissy-Two-Shoes." :D They're both pretty adorable. Though with Rosie at least, we definitely can't feed her endlessly without consiquence. People are already calling her chunky. :evil:
Zim, though, as part of his racehorse persona, LOVES apples. Seriously. He's OBSESSED with them. So every time we go out walking in a nearby orchard, he hunts for them... And is very disappointed when he can't find any. Since it's winter and all. Poor pup.

My friend got a mastiff a few days ago and it bit her. o_o She comes to school with this big swollen bandaged hand and is all like ' Jamie! I got bit by my mastiff!' x_x She was crazy-excited about it, until she had to go to urgent care because of a bacterial infection. Got her out of track practice though.
Myself, I am highly-allergic to dog dander, I've always had a cat and got shots for the little buggers. I don't go into shock or anything from a dog, but I break out in hives and my esophagus swells almost closed x_x And then my friends make ME sleep outside in a tent during a sleep over. D: I feel so unloved.

i love dogs, especially siberian huskys, later on though i'm going to try to adopt a wolf, which you can by the way. perferably a pup.
AuroraDragonKaya- 03-05-2007
You can, but you need a special license. Also, raising a wolf is very, very different then raising a dog. They are, after all, still wild animals, and you have to understand pack mentality. Unlike a dog, a wolf will constantly challenge your dominance as leader.
They also need tons of space, fresh meat, and tend to shy away from humans.
Not to mention needing company....
