Hahaha, sheesh! You have all sorts of these kinds of stories, don't you? The most exciting thing happened in my life, probably is... aw, damn. I don't even remember. So it can't have been too riveting, eh? :wink:

But think about skydiving for a second. What makes a skydiving story interesting to others, unless you die/almost die?

Haha, good point, and if that's the case, I think I'll pass... Though I DO want to go skydiving someday. I just won't tell my mom, otherwise she'd probably fret herself to death. Poor lady.

i have a question, can a wind mage cast lightning, or is that just the storm mage?

Yes, a Wind Mage can cast a lightning spell, but it isn't nearly as effortless as it would be for a storm mage. (After all, lighting is basically just charged air particles, and thusly falls into the domain of Air Mages.) It would be much more instinctual for a Wind Mage to use strong gusts of wind, or some such thing, but, if they had to, they could produce a lightning spell. Again, though, it takes a lot more thought and more effort than for a Storm Mage, and therefore wouldn't always be as effective as if the mage had just gone with something they were more comfortable with.

You can do a lot with wind though. :3 Slice or deafen people with intense things of air, hurl things at speeds they shouldn't be hurled.... Never underestimate the power of wind! BWAHAHAHAHA! (It's also very good for most environments, specially things like sandy deserts, oceans and frozen tundras.)

Wind pwns all. Blows you away. A blade of grass could cut through your skull at the right speed. ._. They can cut through my finger at mach -42. Also, a question about the man in the new page's familar, is that by any chance a quail? I think it is but I'm not quite sure. And while on the subject of quail, a few days ago, me and my mom watched 47 quail cross the road out of a ditch. They kept on coming and coming x_x

It is indeed a quail! XD I love quails. They're silly. And cute. And fun to watch. ...wow, 47? That's pretty damn impressive. XD

o_o They're coming outta the woodwork. >< It's so much fun to watch them running around everywhere, I think it's funny to see a pidgin and a quail walking next to each other. -bob bob bob bob- -scurry scurry scurry scurry- Although killdeer beat both. xD Especially the little babies. I DO NOT HARRASS THE WILDLIFE. I just chase them into corners and take pictures!

ADORABLE. That picture is great. Hah, and it's so worth the trauma inflicted on the little dude. Then again, given how small his brain is, I doubt there will be any lingering ill effects. Can't have much of a memory, now can it?

Birds probably have a decent memory, actually. After all, they mate for life, and their migrations, returning to where they were born, etc. Ok, a lot of that is instinct, but in the way thats a type of memory, isn't it? But omg, its so cute and fluffy... I want to pet it :D <3
