Such misfortune and woe here! Poor friends! Y'know what you all need? Ice cream. Ice cream can do wonders for one's state of being. Too bad we don't have an icon for it... damn. Hmm, well in the meantime, how about some cookies and rootbeer? :cookie: :rootbeer: I hope people feel better...

Cereal phobia...? O.o;; I've... never heard of that? May I ask how it came to be? I'm phobic of insects, especially poisonous ones, but really almost any insects make me shudder. Its been like that since I was a small child. I like snakes, I think they're adorable, but I also avoid them if I odnt know about them, because they could very well be poisonous and its best to leave them be and play it safe. Also, sometime in the past few years I developed a fear of heights, for no damn reason. Especially when I'm on a bridge or a manmade structure. I don't trust it. I don't know why. Its strange, because I climbed a lot as a child, and nothing traumatic happened. **shrugs** And I'm sorry you stabbed yourself, godhand.... >.< But look at the bright side- it sounds impressive and can make a good conversation starter. :3 Maybe you'll get a cool scar and can make up elaborate stories about it! :D

"I'm sorry you stabbed yourself, Godhand." -ADK That's going in the quote page. I mean, I can't NOT; it's hilarious. Anyway. On the topic of elaborate stories... That reminds me of this one kid who has a scar on his hand (from a pen-knife) which he has exaggerated into a full-blown knife fight. (Very tongue in cheek, of course.) It's fantastic. Perhaps something along those lines might work for you? :D

Darmicon- 03-24-2007

For some reason, that quote reminds me of Kratos.

Spiritwolf- 03-24-2007

hmmm, let's see. i have a scar on my arm from when i stabbed myself while I was trying to throw my knife into the ceiling, the one under my eye from when i got hit with a hunting trophy, and now i have this friggen cut on my foot! yea, i was in a few knife fights, heh.

Cereal phobia. I HAVE NO IDEA. It just... x_x Bleh. Although, there was this one time when my niece was over from Denver with my sister, and she's basically the only one allowed to bring cereal into my house without me throwing stuff at them. Well, about three days after she left, I was lying on the floor, watching television. I looked over. Next to me sat a Cheerio. I jumped up, screamed, and had to get on rubber gloves and a napkin ti pick it up. I'm traumatized. I haven't lain on the floor since. Apparently, like any baby, I used to like cereal. I even remember eating it at Kindercare.(There until second grade.) That quote DOES remind me of Kratos, too.

Spiritwolf- 03-24-2007

Kratos? it reminds me of Torque more than anything

lovelydiscord- 03-24-2007

From which we learn 1. don't throw knives at the ceiling, 2. concerning hunting trophies, DUCK, and 3. when handling knives, wear shoes. Yeah. I think this is good advice. Fortunately for you, Godhand, chicks apparently dig scars. I hear these things...

Spiritwolf- 03-25-2007

i donno, have you seen marv from sin city?

Gabriel- 03-25-2007

Introductions, eh? Well, let me see. I'm Gabriel(duh) even though that's not my real name. I am 19, a boy(don't dare call me a man...), kinda student and fantasy author(I will finish it, just you wait...), and I discovered Thunder and Lightning through the Project Wonderful advertisement. I kinda immediately fell in love with Barak. xD Now, I know Kaya from another forum, and we did some pretty awesome IM roleplays together, didn't we? ~pokes teh Kaya~ Now, ironically, I got to know her AFTER discovering the comic without knowing she was the artist. I kinda saw a picture she drew and thought the style looked familiar, so I checked, and bingo. And now, well, I am here. ... Yes, I am weird. No need to point it out. :3

Garuda- 03-25-2007

Everyone's weird here. Except me. I'm totally normal. BTW, Marv is fucking metal. I want to grow up to be him.

lovelydiscord- 03-25-2007

It IS a small world, isn't it? But welcome, Gabriel. Your additional weirdness will serve to make us all stronger. It'll be great. Garuda's just in denial over there. P.S. I adore Barak too. Who doesn't? He embodies badass.

Irerising- 03-25-2007

Yay! It's great to have you here, Gabriel! I'm very glad you decided to join us here, and your comments make me dance around with joy. As for fantasy author-ness... Power to ya! (And you totally WILL finish your project. I say this, because I know these things.) Hmm. What else? Oh, I'm glad you love Barak. There's no bette way to win points with me (that I can think of at this moment, anyway) than to express an affection for characters I had a hand in creating. So a cookie to you! :cookie: And to you too, Discord, for your support of his comment. :cookie: On the topic of weirdness, like I always say, "normal" is overrated. Nuttiness is ever-so-much more fun. Really! ...Except if you're allergic to nuts. In which case I say... Kookiness! Because that's really close to "cookiness" and who here doesn't love cookies? *silence* As I thought. So my point is proven. But yeah. Marv IS Fadass. That's right. Fadass. It's a contraction. Of "badass" plus another aforementioned "f" word. Hence... Fadass. Though, this sort of contraction thing really works better with words that start wtih a vowel... Ah well. Hehe... Metal... *Nathan Explosion walks out and glares around the room* You brought this one upon yourself, Garuda... Ahem. That was very random to the great majority of you. Sorry for that. I just had a brief moment of compulsion, is all. It's been satisfied now though, so I can finish this up and say once again, welcome, Gabriel!

Spiritwolf- 03-25-2007

wow, that made my head hurt... yes, no one here likes to be what people usually call "normal". like me, i like to picture my self as a hellknight cuting a bloody path through an army... but that's just me, heh.
