Hm, I wasn't sure if I should have her be an Apprentice or a Journeywoman as I think it'd be kinda fun to roleplay through familiar binding, although I don't want to roleplay alone. ._. I'm conflicted.

Why not apprentice? It'll give you more time to befriend other students, etc, while as a Journeyman you'd pretty much start out ready to go to the battlefield.
As far as finding people to group with, you can start a thread in OOC for that, once you're approved. ;3
